Purveyors of blissful powerpop since the early 90s, Nada Surf continues to kick out some earnest, delightful jams.

New album Never Not Together is out on February 7 (Barsuk), so expect to hear some new, soon-to-be favorites alongside some of the band's classics (such as, perhaps, songs from one of my favorite-ever records, their deliriously special Let Go).

I've had the pleasure of seeing Nada Surf live, and they are as giddy and wonderful as you'd probably expect them to be. To see them at the Black Cat is a very special thing indeed, and that's what could be happening to you next week! Yes, friends, I've got a pair of tickets to see the fabulous Nada Surf at the fabulous Black Cat on 1/29, and the tickets could well be yours.
