Video of The Day: The Shivas

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

If you're finding yourself in need of a Monday pick-me-up, you need look no further than "Can't Relax," the sensational new ditty from The Shivas that's full of nervy, jittery psych-garage jangle. This fuzzy knockout is breathless, reckless, and simply delicious. From the band's latest record Dark Thoughts, "Can't Relax" is a gem.

The accompanying visuals show the band playing a cramped stage to a rapt, dance-prone crowd. It's a fitting clip, seeing as The Shivas just announced a US tour for early 2020. It's also a fitting way to showcase the song's irrepressible energy, not to mention the band's desire to show folks a good time. As they themselves say, "We just want to make people feel good. We want them to forget they have work tomorrow." Tour dates posted below, it's strongly suggested you see The Shivas on this upcoming jaunt.
