Video of The Day: Pissed Jeans

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

The most famous music video involving working out is arguably the one Olivia Newton-John's kittenish, lycra-clad ditty about getting physical. But in my opinion, we can do better. And bless them, Pissed Jeans has upped the bar, and, in my opinion, made the best gym-centric music video you'll probably ever see.

In honor of their stop in DC this very evening at U Street Music Hall, I'm throwing it back a couple years to the muscle-bound hulk that is "The Bar is Low." The Philly boys hold their own against some gymrats, thanks in part to some nifty effects. And who knows? Maybe you'll hear this very song tonight.
