From the dark, mysterious wilds of Canada (OK, Vancouver), Black Mountain has been a juggernaut of heavy psych for well over a decade now. Over that time, the band has made some of the murkiest, most far out astral noise you're likely to hear.

The spaced out songsmiths are out on the road once again, touring not only newest LP Destroyer but a new single (the jubilantly jangling, spectral "What's Your Conquest?") to boot.

The path of their tour is bringing Black Mountain to DC, and to the Black Cat no less. As someone who's had the pleasure of experiencing Black Mountain live, I can say with good authority that you should most certainly be strongly considering going to the 11/13 show.
