Singles Club: Monster Rally + Sis + Young Mister

Consider Singles Club your musical matchmaker. I do hope you'll give all these ready-to-mingle bachelors and bachelorettes your ear as you listen to some new favorite tunes. Read on in the hopes of finding your musical love connection.

Monster Rally's songs definitely have a fantastical, escapist feel to them. "Sister Owls," for example, could have been dropped into a cult 60s foreign film about spies misbehaving somewhere tropical, with its languidly swaying samples and vinyl scratches giving it a free and easy vibe. Truly a song made for humid days and potentially scandalous nights.

As soft and undulating as a blanket of fog, "Moon at the Peak" is tender and enveloping. Berkley outfit Sis constructs something truly special within the delicate, though intricate framework of the song, something so ephemeral that it's gone almost as soon as it begins.

Young Mister's "What If I?" is addictive from the first note. Earnest, pointed lyrics and down home Americana twang mixed with pure pop appeal give Steven Fiore's ditty about relationship woes an effortless appeal. Hooky as heck, "What If I?" is a dandy.
