On The Road Again: Molly Burch

Well, well, well. Look who's taking their show on the road?

It's entirely possible to glaze over while listening to Molly Burch. This maker of swoon-worthy "romantic pop" has a voice that was made for stopping time, a voice that feels as though it belongs to a different generation. Burch's timbre and tone owe much to vocal powerhouses of decades past, but she doesn't just channel those ghosts. Her presence is of the right here and now, and it's always a pleasure to hear more out of this Texas talent.

What a treat, then, that she just released a new duo of songs on her new 7" Ballads. Perhaps she'll have one or both of these gems on the set on her upcoming tour, which just so happens to start tonight. Goosebumps are sure to be had all across the land.
