On The Road Again: The Dandy Warhols

Well, well, well. Look who's taking their show on the road?

"The weirdest thing about it being ‎our 25th anniversary is it doesn't feel like 25 years. Feels like about six. Or five." As someone who's listened to The Dandy Warhols for almost that long, I'm inclined to agree with Courtney Taylor-Taylor's thoughts on his Portland outfit's impending anniversary.

As we know, major milestones such as this require major celebration. And The Dandys aren't going to disappoint when it comes to throwing a party or five. For starters, the band's 10th album Why You So Crazy is due out next year, which is in itself good news. But the even better news is the 25th anniversary world tour the band will embark upon, starting in Europe in January and then hitting the States in spring. You know what's coming next, I'm sure - don't miss this. It's not everyday a band makes it to 25, and The Dandys have definitely earned the right to celebrate like there's no tomorrow. And who knows, if there isn't a tomorrow, there's probably no better band to be rocking out to while the planet continues its lightspeed descent into utter madness.

But you can take Zia McCabe's words as even more inspiration. Says McCabe, "Get ready for a massive concussion of rock and roll that’s been a quarter of a century in the making."
