Video Of The Day: Varsity

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

Spritely and sinewy, Varsity's new song "A Friend Named Paul" is a rather precocious fuzz pop gem. Feathery, floatingly hesitant lady vocals and a slew of fantastic fuzz make this a can't-resist little number.

The video for the Chicago outfit's earworm is as charming as the song. It brings together synchronized swimming, a serious crush, and the things people do for love. Together, this is everything I needed to see and hear today. Quite swoon-worthy.
