Video of The Day: Wylderness

There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

"Sunography" is a dynamic, glorious sunburst of shimmering shoegaze with sneaky pop undertones. Waves of fuzz are countered with breathy, repetitive vocals for the ultimate narcotic effect.

For Wylderness, the Welsh fascination with South America often informs songwriting, and the video for "Sunography" feels sun-bleached in a Southern hemisphere kind of way. Unusual double images and an array of filters offer up a heck of a view for this heck of a song.
