Video of The Day: Kassin

There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

There really isn't a better song to listen to or video to watch on a dreary Friday such as this than Kassin's "Relax."

This frolicsome groove was composed as a tribute to Kassin's friend, Lincoln Olivetti, whom Kassin calls "The King of Brazilian Boogie." The song is a fitting tribute, with plenty of bold brass and an inescapable good time vibe.

The video throws it back to the late 70s/early 80s, with grainy video quality and some over-the-top effects. As far as the song goes, though, this is the perfect visual accompaniment, and it really enhances the whole experience. Especially recommended whenever you need a bit of a pick-me-up. Kassin says relax!
