Video of The Day: Choir Boy

There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

Choir Boy's Adam Klopp grew up in a strictly religious household, but also fronted a punk rock cover band as a teenager. Ultimately, music won out, though Klopp's derisive, peer-bestowed nickname ended up a fitting moniker for his music. Now, with a full band backing Klopp's heavenly voice, the band is taking their 80s-infused, dark daydream pop out on the road with Cold Cave and Black Marble, and hopefully releasing plenty of music.

The video for "Sunday Light" is filled with religious imagery, which comes as no surprise. It's a stunning clip, and challenges the crystalline, cherubic sounds of the song well.
