Video of The Day: Monster Rally

There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

I love a good plot twist, and the video for Monster Rally's "Tropico" certainly fits the bill. Starring Phil Augusta Jackson and Veronica Osorio, the video stars Jackson as a smitten fella who finds his crush in a festive party film reel.

While the song's vintage tropicalia floats along dreamily, Jackson chases his lady around the house, until things take an even more unexpected turn. Another fine, cinematic burst of sultry lushness from the excellent Monster Rally.
