Sounds of Hopscotch 2017 #9: Acid Chaperone

It's time once again to cast a longing glance down to Raleigh and the delectable Hopscotch. In my humble opinion, this is one of the best festivals around, and since 2010 it's been doing nothing but get bigger and better every year. Sadly, I won't be there this year, but I've pored over the lineup and have a handful of picks that I think you should pay close attention to.

If I was at Hopscotch this year, you better believe I'd move heaven and earth to see Raleigh dudes Acid Chaperone. Their growling, unrelentingly deep, dark, heavy psych rock juggernaut is just what I want to hear on a Friday night (or any night of the week, in truth). 

Acid Chaperone plays Lincoln at 9:30 PM on 9/8.
