Sounds of Hopscotch 2017 #8: The Tills

It's time once again to cast a longing glance down to Raleigh and the delectable Hopscotch. In my humble opinion, this is one of the best festivals around, and since 2010 it's been doing nothing but get bigger and better every year. Sadly, I won't be there this year, but I've pored over the lineup and have a handful of picks that I think you should pay close attention to.

With no shortage of unapologetic strut and bombast, Asheville's The Tills is sure to make some waves up in Raleigh. Their sounds hit full on, packing a heck of a punch with a kiss of psych rock coming through the clamor every now and again. I literally can't listen to them without feeling the compulsion to dance around the room. They're definitely one of the bands I most hate missing this year.
