Sounds of Hopscotch 2017 #7: Spaceface

It's time once again to cast a longing glance down to Raleigh and the delectable Hopscotch. In my humble opinion, this is one of the best festivals around, and since 2010 it's been doing nothing but get bigger and better every year. Sadly, I won't be there this year, but I've pored over the lineup and have a handful of picks that I think you should pay close attention to.

On the spacier, way-the-heck-out-there sunny side of psych rock resides Spaceface, by way of Memphis. Far out yet at times rather poppy, these dudes keep it eccentric, but melodically and prettily so. I'd be curious to see if they take their cosmic vibes a step or ten further (which would be pretty awesome).
