Sounds of Hopscotch 2017 #16: Mourn

It's time once again to cast a longing glance down to Raleigh and the delectable Hopscotch. In my humble opinion, this is one of the best festivals around, and since 2010 it's been doing nothing but get bigger and better every year. Sadly, I won't be there this year, but I've pored over the lineup and have a handful of picks that I think you should pay close attention to.

Luscious lo-fi noise with a Spanish accent. Really, what more do you need? Not much. Mourn does dissonantly melodic so very well in my humble opinion. These "four nerds playing music and shit at the doors of hell" are sure to leave Raleigh with a mass of new fans trailing and trembling in their wake.
