Sounds of Hopscotch 2017 #11: Albert Adams

It's time once again to cast a longing glance down to Raleigh and the delectable Hopscotch. In my humble opinion, this is one of the best festivals around, and since 2010 it's been doing nothing but get bigger and better every year. Sadly, I won't be there this year, but I've pored over the lineup and have a handful of picks that I think you should pay close attention to.

There's a whole lot to love about Asheville's Albert Adams. This duo churns out a riotous racket, a mess of multiple sonic personalities that catapults from here to infinity in one heck of a gleefully scuzzed-up shambles. Full metal doom pop, anyone? The correct answer is yes.

Albert Adams plays Nash Hall at 8:30 PM on 9/8.
