Video of The Day: Umm

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

Melting summer sweetness with the bite of a fuzzed, scuzzy underbelly, that's the noise I love in LA duo Umm's swoon-worthy and incredibly hypnotic nugget "Black Summer." Boy-girl harmonies tangle with waves of sound both polished and a little gritty, and the result is rather divine. The video captures the couple in some seaside shenanigans, vintage-style footage and saturated moments fitting right in with the song's glowing, golden gaze.
