Video of The Day: The Away Days

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

What is it about the idea of a white whale? Thankfully, this "White Whale" is nothing like Ahab's persistent nemesis. Instead, Turkish dreampoppers/dreamweavers The Away Days showcase gossamer guitar play, ethereal vocals, and a pervasive sense of being haunted, perhaps chased. The video is as lovely as the song, live shots of the band cut into scenic views of the dazzling lights of London and the scenic shores of Brighton.
