Video of The Day: Cloud Control

There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

Like so much good pop music, Cloud Control's "Rainbow City" is a whole lot less joyful than the raucous psych pop clamor might initially indicate. Yet there's a beautiful catharsis in this song about loss. The video takes a lighter note, with the band members taking center stage amongst stark white set pieces and super saturated hues of blushing rose and vibrant cerulean backgrounds.
