The Week In Shows: 1/2/17-1/8/17

A dazzlingly sunny first day of a new year seems as good a time as any to plot ones weekly live music schedule, I think. Let's take a look at what's happening in the greater DC metro this week, shall we? Hot diggity!

I don't know about you, but I am super stoked that it's 2017. The last twelve months, while filled with so much angst and loss and WTF, also happened to be filled with good live shows. Let's see if that happy trend continues in the year ahead. And now, without further ado, I present a look at some of the shows I happen to recommend for the coming week in the DC metro. It's a little thin until the weekend, looks like, but that's probably good for those of you who partied a little too hard for New Year's Eve. And as a reminder, if you happen to see an asterisk by a show, I'll be there. You should too.
