The Week In Shows: 11/21-11/27

The Saturday afternoon before Thanksgiving seems as good a time as any to plot ones weekly live music schedule, I think. Let's take a look at what's happening in the greater DC metro this week, shall we? Hot diggity!

I know that for many of us it's hard to be positive right now. Between the election and the late fall deaths of many, much-loved musicians, things look as bleak and as gray as the sky can be here in late November. But it's the weekend before Thanksgiving, so I want to give thanks for the wonderful music that is around and the wonderful bands who make it. So get out there and let those musician types know how thankful you are. Without further ado, I present a look at some of the shows I happen to recommend for the coming week. It's a little thin this week, but there's still goodness to be had. And if you happen to see an asterisk by a show, I'll be there. You should too.

And as an aside, if you've got a show coming up you'd like me to consider including in my weekly calendar, just shoot me an email with "Calendar" somewhere in the subject line. Thanks y'all!
