Video of The Day: Justice

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

When it comes to the video medium as live-action art installation, Justice's "Randy" might not be the most serious art, but it's still pretty darned good. 25 television screens show not only song lyrics (learn the words to the song you'll be dancing to for months!) but space and nature scenes too. The song itself comes from the French outfit's soon-to-be released long player Woman, out in November. Sounding like a sonic contemporary of the TV sets used in the video (c. 1987), the beats are popsicle cool and easy to shimmy to. Rather enjoyable visually and sonically.
