But the festival formerly known as Austin Psych Fest and that now goes by Levitation looks like it's here to stay. 2016 will be the 9th iteration of the best dang psychedelic rock festival the United States has to offer (I'm guessing, since I still haven't been). This year's lineup includes heavyweights such as Brian Wilson (performing Pet Sounds), Animal Collective, The Black Angels, Ty Segall, Super Furry Animals, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Lee Scratch Perry...and there are still additions to come.
