Video of the Day: Dråpe

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

I'm becoming quite smitten with Norway's Dråpe. Their sound is a bit like what might have happened had bands like Dungen and Tame Impala veered more towards 60s pop, making their breathless breed of psych quite hard to resist. The video for the deliriously catchy "Round and Around" celebrates that nostalgic charm of 60s video recordings, and makes a great fit for the honeyed jangle of the song.
