Newsflash!: New Album/Tour from The Coral

When it comes to spaced out sea shanties, it doesn't get any better than The Coral. I've been enamored with these Liverpudlian kooks for a good many years now, so imagine my delight upon hearing the good word about a new record in the near future.

The band's eighth record, Distance Inbetween, will be released in March, and it's their first output since 2010. During that time, the band picked up a new member (Paul Molloy, formerly of excellent Liverpool spacecakes The Zutons). Also announced is a UK tour in March and a few Euro dates in April. Beyond that, you know I'm keeping everything crossed for word of a US tour.
