Singles Club: Fernando
I'm a big fan of the troubadour. Give me a fella with a story to tell and a voice with which to tell it and I'm pretty much sold.
Portland's Fernando is one such gentleman, and he's got the dramatic backstory (years spent tackling a badly-diagnosed illness) to throw in alongside his dreamy, optimistically world-weary vocals and searching songs. "Save Me" takes things to heart and looks for salvation and it's a mighty fine thing to hear.

Good listen. It's like Chris Isaac and Elliot Smith layer together on the floor after a 3 day banger…..I like your description better though. Well done, Megan.
