Video Of The Day: Dead Fame

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

I've already gushed all over the place about the latest effort from Richmond's dynamite synth-goth Dead Fame, but now they've gone and made a video for my song obsession "Joan Crawford," so naturally I have to talk about it. Like the band's sound itself, the video keeps the 1980s in mind, to great effect. The taut, sinister sexiness of the song is bolstered by shots of the band looking both exceptionally photogenic and a little bit badass in their shades. Ultimately, the amazingness that is the song is the star, but the video proves a solid backdrop. Get to watchin' y'all.
