The Week In Shows: 5/8-5/11

A gray, kinda bleak Thursday morning is as good a time as any to plot ones weekly live music schedule, I think. For the weekend, anyway! Let's take a look at what's happening in the greater DC metro this week, with the added bonus of filling you in on what I may or may not be taking in over the course of this abbreviated week. Hot diggity!

Apologies for the abbreviated schedule, y'all. But stuff and things happen. You know how it goes. This week has me excited, because it's really the tip of the iceberg for the awesomeness that is the May gig-going calendar. And you never know, I just might see you out and about during the week (perhaps at the 9:30 Club on Sunday?). As always, anything that's starred has a high forecast of yours truly being there.
