Video of The Day: Super Furry Animals

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

This poesy of puff from my beloved Super Furry Animals is a perfect treat for my friends indulging in the April 420 holiday today. "Smokin'" is an ode to the devil's weed, the song's VIP backroom, fleshy bass and overall gentleman's club stickiness just right for some seriously high times.

The video is a trip in and of itself. Think you know how the tale of a Nordic-looking ringleader and her gang of black beret-clad followers is going to go? It's a surprise, that's for sure, and this fluffy clip makes as much sense as you might imagine a song about smoking would do. So sit back, light up (or don't), and enjoy.
