Video of The Day: Langkamer

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

I think we can all agree that the world is a pretty weird place at this particular moment in time. With "Full Contact," Bristolian twang punks Langkamer tap into these upsidedown days with a kicky, sly slacker country ditty. The song, inspired by drummer Josh Jarman's love-hate relationship with the educational system, is just the right amount of ornery, a fuzzed-out yeehaw with shades of prickly '90s college rock thrown in for good measure.

The video, directed by Jarman, envisions the band as being involved in a '70s cult. As you do. White outfits, creepy masks, questionable use of air rifles, and camo figure heavily in this delightfully camp clip.
