Video of The Day: Crocodiles

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

I've long enjoyed the decadent, raunchy glamour of Crocodiles. "Exit My Head," from the band's February release Love is Here, is another characteristic slither through the dark reaches of naughty garage fuzz, with fervent, skittering riffs offset by the band's omnipresent, luxuriant languor.

The video is frenzied collage imagery, scenes of cemeteries and outer space and Rolls Royces and revolving skulls making for interesting visual bedfellows. It all fits together in a fittingly midnight murk, which is just the way it should be.
