Bands on Film: The Black Angels @ Levitation, 11/9/19

Every now and then I like to take copious amounts of photos when I go to shows. This set of shots is of a band I like a whole lot.

I've got plenty to say about this year's Levitation, which was basically one of, if not the best festival experience I've ever had.

An overpowering long weekend of some of the best bands currently making psychedelic music, Levitation wouldn't exist without The Black Angels. The Austin outfit was, unsurprisingly, one of the highlights of the weekend, treating their hometown crowd at Stubb's to a blinding set (before guesting in John Cale's set that followed their own).

The following are some shots I was able to snap of the band's excellent set. As for the festival itself, a full recap is to come shortly.
