Video of The Day: Husky Loops

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

One of the most addictive songs I've heard in quite a while, I think "I Think You're Wonderful" is, well,  pretty wonderful. Husky Loops capture a very lovely sentiment in a very diabolically catchy little groove. The London-based Italian trio's song is a much-needed burst of sweetness, a ray of sunshine in these troubled times. The single comes from the band's forthcoming LP I Can't Even Speak English, produced by Spoon's Jim Eno and due out in early September.

For the video, the Husky Loops gents asked a variety of folks (friends, fans, and even strangers) to draw how they felt when they listened to the song for the first time. The black and white line drawings give the song even more of a sense of joy, and song and video together feel quite uplifting.
