Video of The Day: Firstworld

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

Miami's Firstworld has definitely turned my head with "Just a Feeling," and I suspect there's plenty of other turned heads in Kris Alvarez's not-so-distant future. With honeyed beats and an intoxicating, though bittersweet, sheen of nostalgia, "Just a Feeling" turns complicated feelings about sex into a hell of a candy-coated, decadently slinky summer jam.

The video also nods to the 80s/90s, with bold colors and cameos from years back (hello, flip phone and ring pop!).
