Video of The Day: black midi

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

If you're not yet familiar with black midi, you soon will be. The London outfit's cataclysmic, chaotic mind-melting rhythms and intricate knots of noise make them one of today's most interesting bands. Cerebral and yet almost feral, black midi's "Ducter" is a towering, magical mess of an epic.

The video cozies up quite nicely to the song, itself a heck of a mind-bender with visual tricks aplenty.
