Good Cover Version: The Bird & The Bee Does Van Halen

Pulp gave the world the song "Bad Cover Version." But seeing as I'm a sonic optimist, I'm of the belief that there's more likely than not more good cover versions floating around than bad ones. Good Cover Version celebrates the good, and leaves all that bad and ugly stuff alone.

As they proved with last month's release of their cover of "Panama," The Bird & The Bee is highly capable of working some serious magic on Van Halen songs.

Inara and Greg are at it once again, releasing not only another killer VH cover but also news of their next full-length record - Interpreting The Masters Volume 2: A Tribute to Van Halen. The record is due out August 2, but in the meantime, join me in getting serious chills from their sultry, slinky rendition of "Ain't Talking 'Bout Love." And keep an eye out for the duo's summer tour, which could be heading your way in August.
