Video of The Day: Josefin Öhrn + The Liberation

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

Made for sunny days, "Feel The Sun" is a sensuous, golden glow of a song from Josefin Öhrn + The Liberation. To my ears, this divine song sounds a little like Goldfrapp at their most come-hither coy cozying up to the icy coolness of Moon Duo, and I love everything about it. The London-via-Stockholm psych outfit is offering up "Feel The Sun" and its accompanying video in advance of their third long player, Sacred Dreams, due out in the very near future (April 22).

The song's video is gorgeous, the 3-D visuals and layer of hand drawings working in tandem with each undulation, each sinuous note. The song and the video together make for a heck of a mesmerizing, mind melting audio-visual experience.
