Video Of The Day: Tiger Lion

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

With spectral, diaphanous bilingual vocals and an almost shamanic rhythm, Tiger Lion's "Black Sea" is both enigmatic and potent. The London-based, French-bred trio captures something truly magical in "Black Sea," and that magic carries over into the song's video.

Stunningly shot, the video heightens the song's tension, focusing on creating disorienting, captivating scenes. Together, the effect is that of quite a waking dream.
