Video of The Day: Oberhofer

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

It's Brad Oberhofer to the rescue in the video for the delectable new Oberhofer ditty "Dreamt I Was Gonna Be Your Man." The 80s-style VHS video has Oberhofer playing saver-of-the-day in a number of potential frown-inducing situations, adding extra sweetness to the song's sugar-coated synth pop (otherwise known as "coincidence pop").

Speaking of the song, it's about "a dream that came true," and it's a joyful frenzy that's pretty darned swoon-worthy. I think it's safe to say that sweet dreams are obviously agreeing with Oberhofer.
