Video of The Day: Broken Baby

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

With their spiky sparkler "Hello From The Other Side of Hell No," LA's Broken Baby has my attention. Unapologetic in both catchiness and attitude, the song is anchored by Amber Bollinger's dynamite vocals. Seriously, we're talking pipes for days. Consider this a Barbarella meets Jem meets Riot Grrls moment, and clear some time in your Friday night to listen to this one a heck of a lot.

The companion video gives Bollinger plenty of screen time in various glittering, attention-getting wardrobe changes, leading up to the big finale at a dirt track. Probably not the kind you're thinking, but surely that's the point. A fitting visual for this firecracker of a song.
