Video of The Day: Ashnikko f/ Kodie Shane

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

A whole lot of dudes out there still appear to need a lesson about what is and isn't appropriate as far as interacting with women goes. This fact isn't lost on Ashnikko, whose "Invitation" lays it all out in plain English - "this is not an invitation/fuck you men you need it." The song's slinky, glitchy beats coupled with Ashnikko's rhymes and guest vocals from Kodie Shane bring the extra spice to this badass piece of #MeToo era empowerment.

I'm as into the video as I am the song - Venus Libido's illustrations are so on point with the song's messaging. The dudes are super creepy (acceptable typecasting) and the two ladies unapologetic. If you're a dude and you're somehow still not sure whether or not you're crossing lines when it comes to the ladies, be sure you check this out immediately.
