Video Of The Day: Old Faith

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

It's possible to find comfort in the vibrant, exuberant post-rock of Old Faith. "Switchbacks" is almost lulling, though it's soon clear that all is not as placid as it may seem. Feverish crescendo awaits, fading away sooner than you'll want it to. There's a fireside warmth here that's incredibly appealing.  

The clever use of different speeds, different angles, and different times of day add interest to the everyday machinations played out in the video for "Switchbacks."

You may already know of Old Faith's work under their previous moniker, Bombardier, but they've shed skin and are forging ahead.
