Video Of The Day: The Marías

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

With a sumptuous, come-hither slink and an impossibly addictive sound, "Cariño" is quite the tantalizing little firecracker. The Marías harness not only a sun-drenched, LA sound but a vintage pop effervescence, perfect for lazy Sundays dangling your feet in the pool or for the hazy, crazy nights.

The video is a treat, a beautifully cinematic piece full of high drama and gorgeous scenery, with the band clad in vintage-inspired garb doing their best to channel 60s Euro flicks. There's a whole lot to like about this, my friends.
