Video Of The Day: Pi Ja Ma

There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

I'd like to dedicate this one to all you overindulgers out there, the stalwart weeknight debauchers who undoubtedly reveled too much in red, white, and blue cocktails last night, and the ones who may have chemical-related holes in certain parts of their memories thanks to various good time extravagances.

With a catchy as all get-out retro pop flair, Pi Ja Ma captures the all-too familiar agony of the morning after with effortless panache. Pauline De Tarragon's sugar sweet vocals and whipsmart lyrics (see: "I hurt my hand talking to my hand") make a perfect pair, and the jaunty instrumentation is so very hard not to shimmy to.

The video's bright hues and tongue-in-cheek sentiment nods cheekily to hangovers past and future, and the riotous silliness is a treat. Bottoms up, friends.
