Video Of The Day: Miles Kane

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

With a nod to the sticky sweet sonic smirk of Marc Bolan's very naughty T. Rex, Miles Kane channels his inner glam rocker on the feisty "Cry On My Guitar." From the forthcoming lp Coup De Grace, the song is a peacock strutting tour de force, and absolutely irresistible to boot.

The video sees Kane taking on professional kicker of asses Finn Bálor of the WWE in atmospheric noir black and white, partaking in a hell of a knock-down, drag-out raging brawl - one with potentially surprising end results. The brutality speaks to the song's "pushed me too far" mentality, though in a rather extreme way. Very, very recommended listening/viewing.
