Video Of The Day: Juniore

There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

You can keep the pale horses. In Juniore's video for "Magnifique," Death rides a skateboard.

As the sultry grit of the Parisian outfit buzzes in the background, the ultimate buzzkill (in summer whites) glides joyfully around some pastoral countryside on the way to the shore. And what's that at the end? A plot twist? Yes, please. This gorgeous video is a great companion to the taut, pouting punch of the song. "Magnifique" is a perfect summertime song, made for roadtrips and late nights in equal measure.

If you're lucky, catch Juniore this month when they pop over from Paris for a few select North American dates. We in DC will have to sigh and listen to their debut Ouh Là Là when it's released on Burger this month and pretend. Sigh.
