Video Of The Day: Guiding Light

There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

It's not the most conventional love song you'll ever hear, hell it may not even be a love song, but then again Guiding Light certainly isn't conventional. And thank heaven for that.

The video for "Jesus" may lull you into a bit of a daze, thanks to a repetitive row of multiple Taras doing all sorts of dance moves in half-time. This Tara thread is superimposed over an arid desert backdrop, washed out and endless. It all works tremendously well together, the visuals with the slow motion, hazy canopy of noise this duo spins together.
