Video of The Day: RF Shannon

There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

RF Shannon's "Black Madonna, So Divine" has a heady, heavy sense of reverence, as though it was created as an offering to a higher being worthy of such a beautiful gift. There's no lack of mysticism in this psych dandy, the whispered vocals and spooky slow burn feeling almost haunted.

Directed by Melissa Cha, the video takes the song into the wild, using time lapse images of gorgeous settings to enhance the earthly sonic delights. A true delight to both see and hear.
