Video of The Day: Sugar Candy Mountain

There's a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

There's plenty of California dreaming happening in Bay area outfit Sugar Candy Mountain's "Split In Two," a bijou burst of bittersweet and sour fuzz pop with just a little bit of smolder. Throw in the slightly dizzy kaleidoscopic visuals, and you've got a totally mesmerizing experience.

"Split In Two" appears on the band's forthcoming LP Do Right, out May 4.
